Asking for flowers… and getting rain
I asked the universe for flowers and I got rain.
When you start to understand this, life starts to make more sense.
You ask for flowers but instead it feels like your life starts to fall apart when it starts raining.
It falls gently at first, then with a roar.
Life feels terrible; everything has gone wrong. What have you done to deserve this? You’re a good person right? You try your best most days.
With time you begin to notice how the world shifts.
The soil, once dry and cracked, now breathes with life.
The rain wasn’t a burden, it was the blessing.
The nourishment you needed to grow into something even more beautiful than you could have asked for.
You stand in the rain, soaked, but with your heart opening like a bloom in the morning sun.
You realise that the flowers you asked for were always inside of you, waiting for the right moment to bloom.
The rain was the catalyst, the force that broke through the barriers, that washed away the doubts and fears.
You are not just a woman waiting for a gift, you are the woman who has endured the storm and now stands stronger, rooted deeper within yourself.
Your beauty was not in the petals you imagined, but in the strength and grace of the roots that anchored you through it all.
The rain teaches you that sometimes, what we ask for is only the beginning.
You wanted flowers but what you needed was the rain to help you grow into a garden.
And so, as you stand beneath the sky, soaked but alive, you understand that your journey was always about more than you could have ever envisioned.
It was about the resilience to embrace what came, and the courage to trust that you were becoming something magnificent, something that could not have bloomed without the rain.
Now, as the storm clears and the sun begins to break through, you see the flowers—your flowers—emerging, stronger and more vibrant than you ever imagined 💐
