  • All about perspective

What are you going to do with your time?

To someone, you’re young and to another, you’re old.

There is comfort and privilege in getting older.

You become wiser, you become more aware of what you want, and you know who you are.

    You’ve experienced pain and loss.

You’ve taken things for granted and have found a new way to approach life with less fear and regret.

It’s all relative anyway and, at the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter what someone else thinks.

What truly matters is what you do with your time, here and now in the present moment.

Use your time wisely and intentionally with all your heart.

And just maybe if you’re one of the lucky ones, you’ll get another shot, chance or opportunity in life – but it isn’t guaranteed.

So, what are you going to do with your time?

    The choice is yours...

When it comes to time this is the one thing you have to realise ⏱️

    It’s all about perspective.

Anything can change in a moment,

It can slow down or speed up.

It can be painful or pleasant.

    The choice is yours.

  • Honour your truth

    Honouring your inner truth

Exercise the ultimate act of self-love, honouring your inner truth even when it is painful.

This means walking away from and letting go of what no longer serves you.

Maybe it’s a job, relationship or location.

It’s breaking free from what boxes you in – the pressure of society, the weight of what other people think and your own beliefs.

When everything falls away, one thing will always remain: the truth.

    It cannot be ignored.

You can live in ignorance, but the truth won’t.

There will be days when loving being yourself will be tough.

Sometimes all you can do is love a tiny bit more than yesterday and that is more than enough.

    Sometimes growth means walking away

Can you really hear yourself? Your soul; your true inner voice? Or are you weighed down by other voices: conditioning, programming, culture, the outside world.

    Honour your truth.

That may be painful for others but you owe yourself the love and dedication you so willingly give to others.

Sometimes life and growth means walking away 🌱

Making space and letting go for a new door to open 🚪

On the other side is everything you could’ve wanted and more, are you brave enough to open it?

  • Strong soul…

Life doesn't get easier, you get stronger

Even when a storm comes and rocks you, there is safety within.

It’s not about what’s happening around you on the outside world, it’s about what’s happening inside of you, your internal world.

It’s easy to be strong when life is going the way you want it.

It’s easy to be strong when positivity comes naturally.

Real strength comes from braving the storms, riding the waves and withstanding the hurricanes.

Life doesn’t get easier, you get stronger.

    Strong soul

There are times in life where you have to sit in the discomfort; the pain; the unpleasant; the chaos 🌀

These are the times where you are being called to go within.

To tap into your inner strength; inner resilience; inner essence.

These are the times you get to know your true self — your soul that cannot be messed with.

Your power isn’t determined on controlling the outside, it’s from calming and braving the inside.

    Your world, your domain ⚔️

As Haruki Murakami says: “When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.” ⛈️

  • I’m grateful for…

    I'm grateful for...

I’m grateful for all that my heart feels.

I’m grateful for the way it beats with pride and joy.

I’m grateful in the way it floats with excitement and swells with tenderness.

I’m grateful when it feels heavy and anchored.

I’m grateful when it feels like it’s being crushed alive.

I’m grateful when it swoons with delight and wonder.

I’m grateful when it beats slowly and gently.

I’m grateful when it races to the rush and thrill of it all.

I’m grateful when it aches and I feel every time it bleeds.

I’m grateful when it rushes off the cliff and suspends itself for a moment in time.

I’m grateful because my heart reminds me I’m alive.

Allow yourself to feel it all

With all the emotions arising from the potent energies we’ve experienced; it is my hope that you let them flow like water.

Allow yourself to feel it all.

    Every layer.

    Every shift.

    Every ounce.

Be in the flow instead or resisting it.

And then you will feel free… 🦋

  • The past will take you hostage

    The past...

If you’re not careful, the past will take you hostage.

You’ll carry it like a momento in your wallet and it will weigh you down.

You’ll watch as everyone else seems to have moved on except you.

You’ll torture yourself in the ‘what ifs‘, ‘could have beens‘ and ‘if onlys‘.

You’ll chase the feelings of the past.

You’ll try to recreate it here and now.

You aren’t who you used to be, you’ve inevitably changed.

You don’t have to be who you used to be.

Know that you cannot hold onto the memories, they will fade.

Life goes quickly and we cannot waste it reminiscing on what was.

You can't change what has already happened...

If you’re struggling with the past, you’re struggling with your mind because it’s clinging onto memories and wondering what they mean.

The last is dead and gone but you’re desperately trying to resuscitate it.

Without your mind, the past simply wouldn’t exist.
    such a “past”.

You can’t change what has already happened anyway.

Yet the unconscious mind loves to fixate on it.

As if worrying, obsessing, replaying will change anything…

The unconscious mind becomes deeply intertwined with the stories – fixated, attached, longing for what has been.

The past cannot be behind you if it is present.

The path out of the past is built upon the foundations of consciousness.

Awaking the inherent power that lies within everyone already — awareness and presence.

Melting the resistance to this moment: the only true moment here in the now.

The unconscious mind does not exist in the light of consciousness in the present moment because it cannot hide or pretend to be the past (or even future).

You aren’t your past, you are the power and presence of consciousness.

  • There’s hope… and help

    It is my hope...

Sure there will be times you question life, question the universe and even question yourself.

It is my hope that you never forget how strong and resilient you are.

It is my hope that you never forget how far you have come even when you did not think you would make it through.

It is my hope you remember that you are so loved and your presence is a huge light in this world.

It is my hope that you remember you are so loved and it wouldn’t be the same without you here.

It is my hope you remember the impact you have on the people around you and the community at large.

It is my hope you remember that you are not alone, that help is always available, you have the power and choice to reach out.

    Keep going, you've got this

A message to you during tides of changing times 🌊

You might not feel strong right now but that doesn’t mean you aren’t… you are because you’re still here.

It’s in these moments of discomfort where we truly grow beyond what we think we are capable of…

Expand beyond what we thought was possible…

It can feel lonely but you are never alone — you have a whole team on the other side supporting you always with unconditional love.

Keep going, you’ve got this 👊🏽

  • May the rain heal you

    Heart, mind and soul...

May my heart no longer be heavy; but light and full of bliss.

May my mind no longer worry, but radiate with inner peace.

May my soul no longer fear; but deepen in love and faith.

Endings give way to new beginnings

& sometimes we need the rain to fall, to wash away and release all that no longer serves us, to nourish us with the waters of contrast in life, to remind us of who we really are in testing times.

    May the rain heal you.

    May the rain relieve you.

May the rain provide mercy to you.

After the rain we know growth will emerge.

    Our wounds are soothed.

Endings give way to new beginnings.

If you’re reading this, it’s a sign of reassurance that the tough times will ease. The worst of it is coming to an end and now you can take the wisdom of the rain into the bloom.

This is symbolized by the beautiful flowers I had in this reel coming to the end of their life but reborn again as I spread them in the sea, transforming into new life. Part of the ocean. Part of the nutrients that feed life within the sea.

  • Love will heal you

    Your time will come...

I’m sorry someone hurt your heart and made you question yourself.

I’m sorry you didn’t feel safe to fully communicate and express yourself.

I’m sorry they could not be the safe place for you to call home.

I’m sorry that you felt so much pressure on yourself to make it work and at times maybe too much was placed on your shoulders.

I’m sorry that you weren’t fully seen for who you really are, that they put their projections and expectations onto you.

I’m sorry that your heart had to hurt.

Love didn’t hurt you, but love will heal you.

There will come a time that it is safe for you to let down your walls.

There will come a time that your heart feels at home with another.

The time is coming that your heart will open again, to depths you never imagined…

    You are love

When your heart is broken, I know it hurts, I know you wish the pain would go away…

This was channeled during a healing I recently had done and I thought it was so beautiful.

Love can hurt but don’t close your heart.

Closing your heart is also closing it on love.

Even when it hurts, there is always so much love at the core of your heart.

You are a channel for love.

    You are love.

One day the love of your life will thank you for opening your heart again, when you’re ready… 🧡

  • This year I am…

    This year I am...

In the year to come, I hope you find the strength to fail because it means you’re taking risks and stepping outside of your comfort zone.

I hope you find the courage to say goodbye to what is no longer in alignment with your heart and soul.

I hope you find the excitement to be open to new moments and opportunities that will fill your life with so much love and joy.

I hope you find the patience to allow yourself to grow at your own pace undeterred and bloom in your own time.

I hope you find the courage to make mistakes because you aren’t afraid of truly living and making moves.

I hope you find the words to express your truth and be your most authentic self.

I hope you find the grace to let go of what no longer serves you and walk away with your head high.

I hope you find peace in knowing everything happens for a reason and what is meant for you, is already yours.

    A brand new chapter

Above all in 2023 I hope you find your heart — to give this year your all and tune into what you truly want.

This time of the year can be full of noise, being clouded by conditioning and the opinions of others.

What do YOU really want? Your heart and soul. Not your ego. Not the must or shoulds.

What brings you closer to who you are and who you want to be, your biggest self?

  • A dedication to my dad

    There is sunshine after rain

Shattered in pieces, broken like a mosaic – there is beauty in your grief and there is beauty in your heartache.

It won’t always be pretty but with the passing sands of time and softening of sorrow, there is a pearl of truth.

There is life after death and sunshine after rain.

You feel them in the salt of your tears and the bleeding colours of the sky.

You feel them in the melting of harsh winters and spring morning time.

You feel them in the soft sunlight shining on your skin and the wind that glides.

You feel them in the mighty roar of the ocean and rolling, turning tides.

You feel them everywhere you go and with everything that you do because they… they are always with you.

    On grief...

know how it feels when it feels as if the grief will swallow you whole.

I know how it feels when you the pain seems unbearable, that there cannot be light at the end of the tunnel.

I know how it feels so achingly lonely, despite being in a room full of people with so much love and support around you.

What I can tell you nine years since I lost my dad on this very day, that life does indeed go on… and it is so beautiful to live on in their love.

The pain, the heartache, the grief, the sorrow that does not go away but you will learn to live with these feelings.

You will come to hold them with open arms and in tender space.

You will understand that feeling it all is beautiful because it speaks to the depth of your love for your lost loved one permeating every inch and crevice of your soul.

You will unlearn timelines, that this happens all in your own time. It cannot be skipped, it cannot be rushed.

You will unlearn all you thought you knew and come to the greatest gift and truth of all: love.

This is dedicated to my dad. I love you with all my heart and in every word that I write.

One of, if not the most beautiful thing to come out of the loss of my dad and grief was becoming a life coach to help others. To share my words
    and insights with you.

My upcoming book released next June is dedicated to him.

Truly I don’t know if I would be a life coach if I hadn’t lost him so early in my life.

Thus is a duality of life. Pain can coexist with beauty. Suffering with happiness.

On the other side of grief you can and will help so many others in your presence and understanding.

Your life and light makes a difference in this world. Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading this.
