Before I share some journal prompts when channeling a message for anyone listening to this podcast three things came up: masculine, wild and family.

I really get this sense of reclamation – being the captain of your own ship—when you’re constantly trying to please everyone else or sacrificing your own needs, you lose control of the wheel. But when you learn to prioritise yourself, you can steer in the direction that aligns with your true desires and purpose. Putting yourself first isn’t selfish—it’s necessary for navigating your life with clarity, confidence, and strength.

Another analogy is that of a fire: Imagine your energy as a flame—when you keep giving it away to others or neglecting your own needs, the flame dims, and the fire risks burning out. But when you care for it, stoke it with your passions, and shield it from external distractions, the fire grows brighter and stronger. This powerful, nourishing flame fuels your actions and decisions, giving you the energy to pursue what you truly want in life without guilt or hesitation.

Lastly, think of yourself as a well—if you constantly pour into others and never refill your own reserves, you eventually run dry. Putting yourself first is about ensuring that your well is replenished, so you have the resources—emotional, mental, and physical—to give from a place of abundance.

It feels like it’s time to reconnect with the wild, raw power that lives within you. Deep within your bones is a primal energy that has been passed down through generations of fierce, resilient women who stood strong in the face of challenges. This power is untamed, unfiltered, and unapologetic. It’s the force that once ran wild through the forests and rivers, that danced in the moonlight, and that trusted the Earth beneath its feet. This power is yours to claim, just as it was theirs. It is not bound by rules or expectations—only by the deep knowing of your own worth and the strength that flows through you.

You are meant to rise, unapologetic in your truth. To stop hiding your brilliance and your power. This journey back to your wild self is not about becoming something you’re not, but about shedding the layers of conditioning and fear that have kept you from fully embracing who you’ve always been. Your wildness is your strength, your intuition, and your ability to navigate life with grace and fierceness. It’s about being bold in your choices, trusting your instincts, and acting with purpose.
