Life’s greatest battles aren’t meant to break you, they’re meant to make you.

I know it feels impossible to see the light when you’re in the middle of a battle that shakes you to your core.

Whether it’s the grief of losing someone, a heart-wrenching breakup, or facing challenges in your career or mental health, with friends and or family — it can often feel like the weight of it all is too much to bear.

I want you to understand something that took me years to fully grasp: these battles shape you, into a version of yourself that would never have been possible without them.

They hold within them the seeds of your greatest growth and strength, even when the storm seems endless. Even when it takes time for those seeds to bloom 🌹

11 years ago around this time, I lost my dad to bowel cancer, and at the time, the pain felt like it would consume me forever.

It completely shattered who I was, how I thought life was meant to be (I had only just turned 20) and I couldn’t imagine finding purpose in such a deep loss.

If that pain hadn’t happened, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I wouldn’t have found the strength to help others navigate their own challenges, to listen deeply, and to understand what it means to rise after being knocked down.

It’s normal to look at a struggle and feel like it’s the end of the road, but it’s only the beginning of a new chapter.

Whatever your challenge it may be, these hardships are teaching you things about yourself that you might not understand yet.

Even when you feel completely lost, remember that in the mess, in the pain, there’s something powerful brewing underneath it all.

Who knew I was going to turn my pain into power and purpose that 8 years later I would become a life coach, and 9 years write a book dedicated to my dad with all I had to unlearn about grief and life 📖 The Great Unlearning: Awakening to Living an Aligned and Authentic Life.

Keep going my love.
