Sometimes suffering and struggle become our story, the comfort of the darkness holds us. We feel the weight of being deeply human; our pain, our fears and our traumas.

Sometimes the very thing we fear is the light. Sometimes choosing to engage with joy is an act of courage. From the darkness we can emerge for joy becomes richer, love deeper, and gratitude more profound.

For when we are asked to experience the dark, we are also reminded to experience the light.

In the darkness we reminded that there is always light… on this special day of Diwali known as the Festival of Lights it’s symbolic of how light always triumphs darkness.

The celebration highlights the cyclical nature of life, where moments of joy can coexist with struggles and sadness. Just as light dispels darkness, personal growth often arises from both. The ying and the yang.

What is so beautiful is here in India 🇮🇳 the coming together of community and display of colour to remind us not to stay in the darkness but to also play in the light ✨
