There’s a lot of bravery in starting again. Letting go of the past in order to move forwards into the future. You don’t know what life holds which is equal parts exciting and scary. Life truly loves a survivor. You’ve delved into the darkness and faced your demons. You’ve hit rock bottom and survived. It doesn’t mean the path ahead will be easy nor smooth but that is not the point. The road ahead is paved with highs and lows. The point is you keep going and that matters.
There will be moments of doubt in starting again and I hope you remember it is proof of your resilience.
Every scar you carry is a testament to a battle you refused to lose.
The version of you standing here today has been forged through fire, shaped by struggle, refined by survival…. Still standing.
You may not yet be able to see the horizon clearly, but your feet know how to move forward even when your heart feels heavy.
The world ahead of you is not the same world that once broke you down perhaps.
You are not the same person either.
That is the gift hidden inside the hardship.
That is the blessing in starting over, which you can always do at any time.
