Sometimes moving forward doesn’t feel like a grand leap. It feels messy. It feels like waking up and wondering if you’re actually making progress at all. It feels like taking two steps forward and then doubting yourself. Sometimes progress is getting out of bed when you’d rather stay under the covers. Sometimes it looks like making one tiny choice that the future you will thank yourself for. You are allowed to heal in ways no one else can see or gets. Understand that moving on is moving, no matter the speed or direction. Moving is a step, a breath, a choice at a time.
Moving forward isn’t glamorous. Most of the time it’s just doing the next right thing even when you’re tired, even when no one notices.
It’s paying the bills, showing up to work, replying to that email you’ve been avoiding.
It’s not about feeling inspired every day—it’s about deciding you won’t stay stuck.
Moving forward is messy and often uncomfortable, but it’s also proof you’re not done yet.
Let it be at your pace, let it be imperfect.
Just keep going in whatever way you can. That’s enough.
