We’re moving on. We’re letting go of what we can’t change. We’ve made mistakes. We lived through them. We learned things the hard way and sometimes the only way. We forgive ourselves. We’re not perfect and that’s okay, we aren’t meant to be. We’re human. We tried. That matters. So we unlearn and continue to. We have stumbled, we doubted. We fell apart and we kept going. We get back up. Step by step. Breath by breath. We don’t owe our pain a permanent home. We don’t have to keep replaying old scenes. We’re choosing peace over punishment. We’re choosing joy. We’re choosing growth over guilt. We are moving on because we deserve to and most of all because we can and should.
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is simply keep walking. Not because the past didn’t matter, not because it didn’t shape you, but because you’ve outgrown what once held you still.
You owe it to yourself to step forward, even when it hurts.
Healing doesn’t mean forgetting; it means choosing yourself, over and over, until the weight finally lifts.
