March 2025 is a month of profound transformation, cosmic resets, rebirths, fresh starts and quantum leaps. I’m calling it one of the biggest months of 2025, some are saying it will chaotic and crazy. There is nothing to fear – You are in the know my love with me! With eclipse season kicking off, major planetary movements and multiple collective energetic shifts, this is a time to shed outdated versions of yourself and leap into the unknown with trust.

March 2025 Energy Forecast
Hi my love, last week I mentioned it was a significant spiritual week with both Shivaratri and the Pisces New Moon just gone by and now we’ve got what I intuitively feel is one of the biggest energetic months of 2025.
March 2025 carries a powerful energetic charge due to several astrological and cosmic alignments that amplify transformation, awakening and deep shifts. So in this podcast I’m going to break down the energies of March 2025. This serves as a heads up and guide to what is going on energetically.
So what does this actually mean for you? I’m going to translate this energy for you as a practical guide to the week.

Venus Retrograde March 2025
It really does kickstart on the 1st of March when the planet Venus is retrograde until mid April on the 12th. Venus retrograde shakes up relationships, whether you’re single or in one. Venus governs love, connection, values, and attraction, so when it appears to move backward, you’re invited to slow down, reassess and reflect.
Venus Retrograde March 2025 - In a Relationship
If you’re in a relationship, Venus retrograde can highlight areas where you and your partner may not be seeing eye to eye. Unresolved issues tend to resurface, pushing you to have conversations you may have been avoiding. Communication can feel strained, and misunderstandings may arise more easily, requiring patience and clarity. This is also a time when deeper questions come up: Are we still aligned? Are we growing together or apart? Some relationships strengthen through this period, while others may reveal cracks that can no longer be ignored.
Venus Retrograde March 2025 - Single
For those who are single, Venus retrograde can stir up memories of past lovers—sometimes literally, as exes/flings/one nights/situationships/past lovers- may resurface, whether in dreams, thoughts, or direct messages. It’s a chance to reflect on past relationship patterns and ask whether you’re still drawn to the same dynamics or if it’s time to break free. New relationships formed during this time might feel intense but can often be clouded by illusion, making it wise to take things slow. More than anything, this period invites self-reflection: What do I truly want in a partner? Am I honouring my own worth in love?
Venus Retrograde March 2025 - Human Design Family Friendships
Let me emphasise: Venus retrograde isn’t here to ruin love—it’s here to refine it.
Whether you’re in a relationship or single, Venus retrograde asks you to pause and reassess. It’s not a time for rushed decisions but for deeper clarity. When the retrograde ends, you emerge with a renewed sense of what love means to you—whether that means strengthening a connection, releasing the past, or stepping forward with a clearer heart.
Now it’s just not love. This aligns with the human design energy for the first week of March 2025 – family and friendship. From a human design perspective; you may find that family and friendships are put under a magnifying glass, prompting you to reconsider your connections and values within those relationships. This transit can stir up old dynamics or misunderstandings, asking you to reevaluate what truly matters to you. Pay attention to any feelings of tension or unresolved issues, as they may offer valuable insights.
Mercury moving into Aries March 2025
Do note in the background on the 3rd/4th of March, Mercury drops into Aries. This can bring a bold, fast-paced energy to communication, encouraging quick thinking, directness and a sense of urgency.
Conversations might become more spontaneous, with people feeling more inclined to speak their minds and jump straight to the point.
During this period, you may notice less patience for beating around the bush, and more emphasis on getting to the heart of matters quickly. There’s a tendency to act on ideas before fully thinking them through, which can lead to impulsive decisions or misunderstandings if not approached with care.
Now when this is paired with the intensity of eclipse season and Venus Retrograde the potential for emotional reactions or impulsive decisions can increase. Be really conscious of communication in March. It’s wise to take extra care with your words during this time. Think before reacting or speaking, and take a moment to ensure that what you express is aligned with your true feelings, rather than being driven by past patterns or temporary emotions.
On the positive side, this transit can spark creativity and inspire action, making it a good time to have bold conversations you’ve been putting off. The key during this transit is to balance your enthusiasm with a bit of patience, allowing space for clarity and precision in your communication.
Eclipse Season March 2025
The big ones lets of course talk about how March 2025 this month has two eclipses. One is part of the new series in Virgo mid March and the other closes the chapter on the final Aries-Libra Destiny set of six eclipses which began in April 2023 and are ending now in March 2025.
Now if you recall for the new series we got a taste of Pisces during an eclipse last year in 2024 around mid September 18th 2024. It is going to end February 2027 so we’ve got quite the chapter collectively.
Remember with all eclipses as a general they can reveal what’s unknown, or hidden even lurking thus can bring about sudden changes, so be prepared for unexpected opportunities or challenges that can change your course. You may feel compelled to take a leap of faith or make a bold move that feels risky but aligns with your true desires. It’s important to trust the timing and allow the eclipse to guide you toward what is meant for your growth, even if the path forward is not fully clear.
A major theme linking Pisces and Virgo, as opposite sister signs on the same axis, is also why this year’s eclipses will feel especially intense. Pisces, the final sign of the zodiac, brings a sense of completion, while Virgo, positioned right at the heart of the zodiac wheel, provides a contrasting yet complementary perspective on the same themes.
The tension extends itself, Virgo is the practical, Pisces is the dreamer.
Virgo Lunar Eclipse March 2025
There is a Lunar Eclipse in Virgo on the 14th/15th March, the first eclipse car the South Node. What does this practically mean? Past patterns, karma, and habits that no longer serve your growth may pop up around this time to heal particularly around Virgo shadow themes such as perfectionism, over analysing and self criticism. Perhaps where you are too practical.
This eclipse might prompt you to reflect on how you’ve been overly focused on efficiency, detail, or trying to “fix” yourself or others. There could be a pull to simplify your life, let go of unnecessary expectations or release the need for control. The karmic energy here invites you to trust that you don’t have to perfect every detail or have everything planned to succeed. It’s a time to focus on self acceptance and embrace a more relaxed, balanced approach to life (towards Pisces collectively).
Mercury Retrograde March 2025
If that wasn’t enough our friend Mercury goes retrograde the day after – the usual be conscious and aware of communication.
I’m really getting the intuitive feeling to let anyone listening know all connections made during this month likely have some karmic soul contract energy to it therefore really take things slow and paced because eclipses can make things feel intense and all or nothing. By the way when I mention this it can be labelled “good karmic” as well as “shadow karmic.”
Virgo Eclipse March 2025 Human Design Crisis Love of Spirit
Now for anyone who’s familiar with their human design chart, collectively in human design this week has crisis mixed in with love of spirit. If you’re experiencing a “crisis” this week, it’s a tell tale sign to look at these behaviours.
On a larger scale, alining with love of spirit collectively in human design this eclipse may prompt a spiritual reckoning—questioning your relationship with the God or Universe that you believe in. You may feel a tug toward understanding your purpose more deeply or an urge to realign with a higher calling. Trust that even though these moments may feel intense or uncomfortable, they are guiding you toward greater clarity and spiritual growth.
Astrological New Year 2025 Aries Season - Spring Equinox/Autumn Equinox
On the 20th we officially shift into Aries Season on the 20th marking the new Astrological year so from an astrology point of view it’s officially 2025. It’s also known as the Spring Equinox or Autumn Equinox depending where you live. Happy New Year!
This moment is all about energy, action, and initiation, as Aries embodies the qualities of leadership, courage, and boldness. It’s a time when the cosmos invites you to plant seeds for new beginnings, harness your inner drive and embrace the opportunities for growth and change ahead.
Given that this new year falls in a year that may carry themes of releasing old patterns, the Aries energy offers a wonderful balance of initiating change and moving forward. While Aries pushes you to act, there is an undercurrent of revisiting how you’ve been carrying your past wounds or patterns that no longer serve you.
This is the moment to put those lessons into practice and move with clarity and enthusiasm into the next chapter, leaving behind the things that hold you back. With the equinox’s balancing nature, it offers a chance to be both assertive in your actions and mindful of the changes you’re creating, ensuring that your efforts are aligned with your deeper desires and goals.
Final Eclipse in Aries Libra Series - Solar Aries Eclipse
Now the final eclipse in Aries on March 29th ties up a two year chapter of lessons on assertiveness, conflict and balance in our personal relationships and collectively. Do recall Aries deals with ourself, Libra deals with Others/Relationships.
The energy of this final eclipse is very similar to one that occurred all the way back around the end of March 29th/30th in 2006 so that may be a glimpse to reflect what was going on in your life then and what is happening now. This eclipse is also the opposite of the October Libra Eclipse in October 2024 so again another check in point to reflect on.
Given it’s Aries but it’s ending I think it really points to reflecting on the last 2 years particularly at points during the eclipses in Aries Libra and using those lessons to move forward into this new personal and collective chapter in our lives.
Aries Eclipse March 2025 - Human Design Opinions
It aligns collectively with the human design energy of opinions. The swirl of this human design energy and astrology is having the boldness and fierceness to speak up for yourself. The key is to find a balance: Aries energy can propel you forward and urge you to take the stage, while the human design energy of opinions ensures that your words have substance and depth, and that you’re offering your opinions in a way that invites others to reflect.
I still this down to be: embrace the courage to speak your truth, but also leave room for growth and change in your thinking, especially when others offer alternative viewpoints.
Aries Eclipse March 2025 - Stand Up For Yourself
As this is the final eclipse in the Aries-Libra series, you may also experience a sense of completion or closure around themes related to Aries energy: independence, assertiveness, and self expression. If you’ve been working on stepping into a more authentic version of yourself or embracing leadership roles, this eclipse will offer the final push to fully embody that path. It’s about trusting your instincts, letting go of old fears or hesitations, and stepping into the future with confidence.
My final note on this energy intertwining the Aries Solar Eclipse with the human design energy of opinions: are there anythings left unsaid or done with regards to the last 2 years of your life? What have you been putting up with, this feels like that energetic closing to stand up for yourself, to say something.
Neptune enters Aries March 2025
I know this has been a lot but there’s still one more thing for March 2025. Neptune enters Aries on March 30, for the first time since 1861 to 1875.
What does history tell us?
The American Civil War started on April 12, 1861 and of significance the next day, Neptune entered Aries on April 13 of 1861. This was a time of intense ideological and cultural conflict, where the nation was split over issues such as slavery, states’ rights, and economic structures. Neptune, the planet of illusion, ideals, and collective consciousness, when in Aries, often brings forth a powerful, idealistic drive to initiate change — sometimes through conflict or upheaval.
In a broader sense, Neptune’s transit through Aries during the Civil War exemplifies how Neptune can dissolve boundaries and fuel passionate causes, but also how those causes can become clouded by illusion, division, and the challenges of trying to live up to ideals in a complex and tumultuous world.
What is also significant? Saturn will follow in two months time into Aries now that’s for another time to discuss! The next wave of Saturn Returners in 2026 will be in Aries.
With Neptune moving into Aries, the energy surrounding spirituality, creativity, and self-expression will take on a more fiery, individualistic tone.
What happens when Neptune enters Aries March 2025
When Neptune moves into Aries, it brings a fresh wave of energy that encourages people to pursue their dreams with excitement and boldness. Aries is all about taking action, starting new things, and embracing challenges, so during this time, many may feel a surge of motivation to follow their personal goals, especially those related to self-expression, creativity, or spirituality. There’s a sense of urgency and enthusiasm to make things happen and to be seen for who you truly are.
However, while Aries is about courage and drive, Neptune has a more dreamy, idealistic energy. This combination can sometimes cause confusion or lead people to chase after goals that might not be as realistic as they seem. You might feel inspired to take big risks or start new ventures, but there’s a potential for disappointment if those dreams don’t work out as expected. It’s important to stay grounded, think practically, and take measured steps, so you don’t get too carried away by the excitement.
